About Jacqui

Hi there, I'm Jacqui. I'm a Wife, Mother of two and a Personal Trainer.

I guess I'm not your average personal trainer. I set up Jacqui Jackson Fitness in 2015 after finally having the guts to follow my dream of working in the fitness industry. I studied Law at Uni (many years ago) and spent 13 very busy years working in financial regulation mostly in London - probably the furthest away that you can get from a career in fitness!

However, that said - one of the key skills I developed in my previous career is the ability to solve problems. It's this skill which helps me be a better Personal Trainer - I consider the whole picture with my clients and not just how well or how much they exercise.

Exercise and sport has played such a big part of my life. I am a much happier person when I am doing something whether it's going for a run, a bike ride with the family or even just a swim. I spent a few years rowing in London and loved all the training involved - both on and off the water. I even have a Women's Henley Medal to show for it! Go me! Exercise these days mostly consists of what I can fit in with two young daughters at home. This means I need to be creative and if I can get my girls involved even better.

I started Jacqui Jackson Fitness because I wanted to help people feel good about themselves and find a way to enjoy exercise. I specialise in and have a huge passion for pre and post natal fitness. My skill set, thirst for knowledge and own experiences continue to drive me forward in this often forgotten area.
